What do I need to know about EPP ?

All registered CO.ZA domains will be migrated to the new Extensible Provisioning Protocol (EPP), which is an internationally accepted system that has proven to be a simpler and more effective way of administering domains.

If you receive notification that a domain is ready for transfer it means that Comtech Internet & Website.co.za is now ready to take over the role of Registrar from UniForum for the domain in question.

The notification will take the form of a voting ticket, sent via email, with the subject line as follows:

COZA-Xfer: TICKET REPLY REQUEST: “exampledomain.co.za” on hold for Legacy Transfer.

You can safely ignore this ticket as Comtech Internet & Website.co.za will accept the transfer on your behalf. Your domain name will continue to function as before.

Should you have any questions in this regards, please do not hesitate to contact us on support@website.co.za or on 072 250 0000.
